(1) If the environmental study report prepared in connection with the implementation of a proposal is received in accordance with section 3, the relevant body shall carry out necessary investigations on it.
(2) In order to scrutinize the environmental study report received in accordance with sub-section (1) and suggest opinions, the relevant body may form a committee consisting of representatives of that body, representatives of concerned bodies related to the proposal and subject matter experts as necessary.
(3) If it is found that further environmental study should be conducted in relation to such proposal while examining the environmental study report received in accordance with sub-section (1), the relevant body shall order the proposer to conduct a preliminary environmental test in the case of a brief environmental study or an environmental impact assessment in the case of a preliminary environmental test.
(4) In accordance with the order given under sub-section (3), the proposer shall further study and submit the report to the relevant body.
(5) If it is not found that the implementation of such a proposal will have a significant adverse effect on the environment during the examination in accordance with this section, the relevant body shall approve such environmental study report with the conditions to be followed by the proposer as necessary.
(6) Other arrangements regarding approval of environmental study report shall be as prescribed.
